Biloxi and New Orleans

Wonderful couple of days in Biloxi. Kids enjoyed New Orleans and want to go back. 

Kindergarten Graduation

Graduation from Kindergarten. 

JV meet at BV High

Marshall had a personal best of 5'3" in the high jump today. He also ran a great lap in his 400m relay. Work to be done but he Is a off to a super start. 

Freshman Track Meet

Last Friday, Marshall had his first track meet of the season. He got 2nd in the high jump. He also placed 2nd in the 800m. Off to a great start.

A tennis ball is clearly not a basketball. Marshall is working on dunking and should be able to throw it down by the end of summer.

Medal Pallet

3.5 years in club soccer and Sydney has 24 medals on her wall. She loves the game and works incredibly hard. 

Winter Magic 2016

Winter Magic U13 D1 CHAMPIONS

Sydney's team won all four games. Her team only allowed one goal this weekend and they were crowned Division 1 Champions.

U12 Boys El Magico Futsal Champions

The boys went 4-0 this weekend. Sydney spent the last half of the final game as goalkeeper. She even scored a difference maker from goal.

Moriah loves soccer

Moriah finished Winter 1 today. She had the privilege of working with Sydney's coach, Matt Iverson. We are so impressed with her skill, effort, and speed. She did step-overs, scissors, and multiple push Maradonas today against a first grade team. Way to go, Little Hammy!

Thanksgiving

Today we celebrated our first Thanksgiving in our new home. The tree is up. The house is decorated. We had a wonderful 24lb bird today. We all have so much to be thankful for.

Soccer > Baseball

Thankful everyday that our kids play soccer and not baseball.

 Gladly up until midnight tonight watching SKC lose their first round playoff match in penalties.

You won't find me in royal blue with the rest of the bandwagon SHEEPLE In Kansas City.

Varsity minutes

Marshall played nineteen minutes in the second half of the VARSITY match on Monday evening. He almost found the back of the net but ended up with an assist. 

New club. New team. Another medal

At the end of last soccer season, Sydney informed us that she was ready for a new challenge. After several conversations with her, she informed us that she wanted to play with boys. Sydney has always had the desire and drive to play soccer at the highest level. She believes that in order to reach her goals she must push herself.

Sydney now plays for KC Legends on a U12 boys' team and a U13 girls' team.  She is currently developing more foot skills on the ball while playing against stronger and faster players. 

Her team won the CSI Tournament last weekend. She had several goals and played an integral part in the team becoming champions.
