ODP Memphis Weekend

This weekend we headed to the Olympic Development Program's Interregional Showcase in Memphis.  Sydney was representing the Kansas 04 girls. 

On Saturday, Kansas played against the ODP team from Tennessee.  Sydney played every minute of the game!!

Sunday morning, Sydney was selected with two teammates to represent Kansas in the 04 Pool Game. The best of the best from nine states came together to play soccer at an incredibly high level. In the second half Sydney slid into goal, taking the ball with her, to even the score 1-1. 

Also on Sunday, the Kansas 04 ODP team played the Arkansas 04 ODP team. Sydney had a hockey assist and battled hard at every turn.

Monday, she played her last game against ODP 04 Illinois. She had made friends with several Illinois players on Sunday. It was so fun to see her interact with them. 

What a weekend for our girl who has big dreams and works SO hard!!!
